First round of testing complete
We've completed our first full round of testing and we'd like to share our results with you. No major issues were encountered and the system held up very well. Most of the issues were around the content and the site layout. Here's a summary of the main issues raised.
Warranty information
We'll be adding warranty information for each lacrossehead and lacrosseshaft. This was a bit of an oversight and 80% of our testers remarked that it wasn't there.
Shaft cross-section style
Shaft cross-section style is a big deciding factor and we'll be adding this to all shafts. This was a big issue for those who only want octagonal lacrosse shafts. If they had to use a tear drop style, they wouldn't play!
IFWLA/USL standards
Women's lacrosse heads have two main standards to design to. This information wasn't published by the brands earlier, but is now so we'll be adding it.
Lacrosse gear comparisons are preferred over lacrosse gear news.
We have a lot of news articles about up new gear, but we'd also written a product comarison article between two comparable lacrosse head from different brands. This one article attracted more views than all the other articles combined.
More lacrosse gear reviews!
The last main point was "MORE GEAR REVIEWS", screamed from the top of the mountain! We only had a few official lacrosse gear reviews posted to the test site so our users weren't able to consistently find the top rated lacrosse gear. We're in contact with all the brands so we can get more lacrosse gear to review.
We'll be addressing these issues and hoping to launch our next test website in the next 2-3 weeks.
