Reebok is one of the leading global brands for sports apparel, footwear and equipment. Recently it became a subsidiary of German sports giant, adidas. Its headquarters is in Canton, Massachusetts.
Reebok was founded in 1895, Bolton, England, as J.W. Foster and Sons, Inc., and is the oldest manufacturer of athletic shoes in the world. In 1958, the name was adapted to Reebok, after the African gazelle. The company expanded into the production of lacrosse equipment last 2007.
The company takes pride in high-quality products that reflect creativity and the desire to challenge the status quo. This March 2011, the company began the Reebok Lacrosse Watermelon Tool. Some of their latest products are the Watermelon 10k 5.0.5 Head and 10 O-Tech Handle, the 7K Carbon-Fuse Handle Smooth Grip, the 7K Lacrosse Zendium-Pro Argyle Shaft, and the 9K Airvynity Cheetah Strung Head.
Reebok has designed apparel and equipment for the Boston Blazers, Calgary Roughnecks, Rochester Nightingales, and Toronto Rock. It is the exclusive provider of footwear, apparel, and equipment for the National Lacrosse League, and has been since 2005.
Reebok also sponsors celebrity players Zack Greer, Kyle Hartzell, Brodie Merrill, and Lewis Ratcliff, among others.
