Awesome proteciton and my arm moves freely. I tried the arm pads and I think they were less flexible. Weird. They're longer than the armpads too, so you get more prot area.
STX K18 Lacrosse Arm Guards
LGR Review
Being able to move your arms in the tense moments of a game is essential. Having an arm guard that lets you down can be the difference between making that goal or missing the shot.
Kyle Harrison, the midfielder and professional American lacrosse player, inspires the STX K18 lacrosse line. He knows what you need in any game, and translated those needs into this gear.
Protection
Keeping your arms safe from brutal checks is important for any lacrosse player. The STX K18 arm guards include the revolutionary D3O shock absorbing technology. This absorbs the impact of hard checks while also providing the most movement possible.
There are also inner pads at both the top and bottom to provide an extra level of protection. All this combines well to keep your mind on the game and not on the pain.
Comfort
Many arm guards have plastic on the inside, but the new mesh material on the K18’s is some of the softest and most breathable material available. Also, the mesh won’t pinch your skin like most arm guards do that have plastic. It also enhances breathability, keeping sweat off your arms so your guards don’t slide all over the place.
Fit
One drawback that a lot of arm guards have is the extended straps that catch on your jersey throughout the game. STX made sure to get rid of that annoying snag by shortening the straps so they fit perfectly. The last thing you need during a critical shot is to be slowed down or hampered by your gear.
These are perfect for any attack player especially if you don’t want to worry about them sliding around at the worst possible time. The STX K18 arm guards include silicone nubs on the internal sleeve to prevent any sliding. You won’t be constantly adjusting them throughout the game.
Summary
When it comes to protection and reliability, the K18’s are one of the best. The last thing you need as a player is gear that lets you down, so investing in arm guards that absorb every check, stay in place, and breathe well is essential to performing at your best.
Since a professional lacrosse player designed these, you can be sure all of your needs are met. No one who knows lacrosse gear quite like one of our own.
These guards are light but hold up against the rigors of the game which is an impressive combination in any arm guard. They come in large and extra-large, and are ones you should consider adding to your collection.

Good:protection, comfort and light, arm movement, better than k18 arm padsBad:except that these arr bulkier than k18 arm padsOverall:I bought these coz I'm moving into attack and they are amazing. You don't even notice them and for the first couple of training sessions I was flinching coz I forgot they were there.

Good:Protection, protection, protection, protection, protectionBad:haven't found anything wrong with them yet.Overall:I've had these for half a year and they are totally the best arm guard I've ever worn. good protection, but no out of this world.
Good:feel good on, protect well and protect a lot of areaBad:Wouldn't say they're fantastic, they're ok.Overall:It was between thiese and the Cell 2's and I bought these. These felt a lot better on, so it was no wonder they were a bit more expensive.
The other think I like is the length. The cover a lot of my arm. They're holding up well and I have no complaints. They fit well and protect as expected.Did you find this review helpful? -
The best arm guard going around. They rock!
Good:durable, fit, feel, comfort, protection, top of the lineBad:absolutely nothingOverall:These have more protection than the Assaults. They run pretty high up your arm as well giving you even more protection. I have had them for a year and they are the best arm guard I've worn EVER. They're really durable, completely comfortable all the time and don't getin the way.Did you find this review helpful?
